The Opportunity:
Title: F5 Consultant
Location: Cairo, Egypt
This is an opportunity to advance your career in a professional services organization, providing remote services to customers, covering the entire F5 product portfolio including NGINX over a variety of environments, including private & public cloud and enterprise data centers.
About the Role:
As an Associate Consultant at C-Serv, you will play a key role in delivering onsite and remote technical services to customers, focusing on the entire F5 product portfolio, including NGINX, in various environments. You will engage in recurring and one-time engagements, such as greenfield design and configuration, software updates, and operational tasks. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills and make an impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver onsite and remote technical services to customers, covering the entire F5 product portfolio, including NGINX.
· Communicate effectively and collaborate with local and global consulting teams and professional coordinators.
· Maintain proficiency in the F5 products and technologies through proactive and formal training.
· Identify opportunities for product and technology improvements and contribute to their development.
· Study and obtain F5 Certificates to enhance your expertise.
· Ensure customer satisfaction through strong technical knowledge and exceptional communication skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience with application delivery controlling/load balancing.
Proficiency in Linux system administration, including package and dependency installations, IP security/firewalling, and troubleshooting tools.
Knowledge of PKI and SSL/TLS behavior.
Familiarity with IPv4 and IPv6, NAT, dynamic and static routing, and firewalling.
Additional skills such as Linux scripting (Bash, Perl), OSI model understanding, coding languages (HTML, Python, PHP), Linux container environments (Docker, LCX, Kubernetes), orchestration and automation technologies (AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Ansible, Puppet, Chef), AWS and Azure cloud environments, WAF principles, and NGINX, F5 BIG-IP ASM, LTM, and GTM are advantageous.
Language requirements:
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English with the ability to understand technical concepts and terminology.
